Gatwick Aviation Museum

Saturday 07 Mar 2020 18:00

Threshold.aero have again teamed up with Gatwick Aviation Museum to offer an evening of Cold War classics on 5th October. A hop, skip and a jump from the UK’s second busiest airport, Gatwick Aviation Museum plays host to a collection of some of the UK’s most iconic aircraft from the fifties, sixties and seventies.

Starring in our second night-shoot at this location will be six of the museum’s aircraft all outside including a fire spitting engine run by the Shackleton.

The night will commence by taking full advantage of the deep blue skies of twilight, during which we’ll begin by lighting the Percival Sea Prince T.1, Avro Shackleton MR.3, English Electric Lightning F.53, Hawker Hunter, Blackburn Buccaneer and the Hawker Harrier GR3 which will be half in its RAF Germany hide under the trees. If there is time at the end, we will light any of the inside exhibits if requested.

This event is for over 14s only - No refunds will be issued for under 14s
