An evening at Middle Wallop, celebrating 80 years

Army Air Corps Aviation Centre

Friday 16 Mar 2018 17:00

Are you dismayed spending your Friday evenings in front of the telly? Well, have we got news for you?!

Working with our friends at the the Historic Army Aircraft Flight we'll be providing a smattering of aircraft that have graced Middle Wallop over its 80 year history. And better still, we won't be depriving you of your hard-earned take-away at the end of the week as the Museum of Army Flying's Apache Cafe will be on hand with a curry.

Following the Wings Parade on Friday 16 March will see a number of Army Air Corps types gathered for a night photocall, including Middle Wallop stalwarts Beaver AL.1 XP820, Skeeter XL812 and Sioux AH.1 XT131. A number of aircraft are likely to be visiting, more on those when we have it.

Curry (with rice, naan, poppadoms and chutney) will be priced at £7.50 and payable on the day. Please reserve your curry by selecting "curry reservation" when you book your ticket.

Entry to the event is for those aged 11 or older. Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
