Navy Wings Heritage Nightshoot
Navy Wings Heritage Centre
Thursday 21 Mar 2019 17:00
Thursday 21 March 2019 sees our fourth Navy Wings Night Photoshoot but with a difference. Following comments and suggestions from photographers and the Navy Wings team, we will be holding our first Navy Wings Heritage Night Shoot. We have teamed up with one of the UK's premiere living history re-enactment groups to introduce aircrew and groundcrew fully kitted out in appropriate clothes and accessories to match each individual Naval aircraft and its era.
As with previous nightshoots, once the sun goes down we will be using our battery-powered portable LED lamps to light all the participating aircraft on the apron. Our large group of re-enactors will pose in front of and around one or two of the aircraft at a time, this will enable you to capture images with or without the crews.
Our re-enactment team have been in the industry for nearly twenty years and are comprised of serving military, ex. service personnel and civilians. In this time they have appeared in many TV productions and documentaries and appeared at events all over the country, helping to educate the young about military history. They also act as historical advisors to the TV, film and theatrical Industry providing important historical information and research.
Please note our last event at HMS Sultan sold out in less than 15 minutes so make sure you book early.
The October nightshoot will be back to our standard ops but with a rotary theme!
